Andy Warhol at the "Nic" Andy Warhol s Dream America comes to the Nicolaysen Museum this August from The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation s extensive collection of Andy Warhol and Pop Art works. The show is a traveling exhibit of 88 pieces of Warhol`s work, including complete portfolios of Campbell s Soup I, Mao, Marilyn, Mick Jagger, Cowboys and Indians, and much more. The work spans most of Warhol s career, beginning with the "Marilyn" series, which was completed in 1967, through the "Cowboys and Indians" series from 1986. The show opens a two-year, seven-city run in Billings, MT before the Casper leg of the tour, and provides a rare opportunity for people to view an extensive collection of Warhol`s work. Unlike other Warhol exhibits, Dream America includes complete print portfolios or suites of some of his most well-known works.
